Yes, It’s Staying There For-EVV-Errr
I pulled up my Google Analytics and found that as recently as yesterday, someone from Oxnard, California got to my site by Googling “Kathleen+Lancaster+Cookie+Lee.”
Fascinating. They know me by name!
That same person found me again just a few hours ago by googling “Cookie+Lee+Complaints.” As have 639 other Google users in the last 31 days.
It’s been a LONG time since I’ve written about Cookie Lee. But only because I don’t have to write about Cookie Lee anymore.
Google’s got me archived. I’m in there. Forever.
So when someone types in “Cookie Lee,” Google still has me on page 1. They’ve even posted my picture next to the results.
And . . . when someone types in “Cookie Lee Complaints,” I’m at the TOP of page 1. (No picture, though. I’ll have to talk to their anti-spam team about that.)
Mama knows her S.E.O.
The blog stays, and so do the posts. ALL of the posts. Even the ones about Cookie Lee. I’ve even outlined what I want done with the blog if I meet an untimely death: The LOML pays for the blog and domain for at least 10 years so the boys can have access to it until they are in high school.
Sorry, Cookie Lee.

Personally, I’m glad you don’t devote any more time to writing about Cookie Lee. ;-P Google does your work for you, now. Hooray!

I’m still not over it, but I’ve let go quite a bit. The long tail has done me well with this one — I love “the Google”!
