A Face Only a Mother (and Perhaps the Rest of the United States, Canada, and Maybe Even Mexico and the Virgin Islands) Could Love
You would never have guessed that this is the child that would grow up to embarrass me in so many ways that I’d have to start a blog just to get the stories off of my chest.
This is the boy that almost got me sent to jail.
And the boy who busted me when I thought I’d be able to hide fries in my purse.
And yes, he’s the one who now thinks that granny panties with holes in them are called lace underwear.
I fell in love with this boy long before he came into the world, and for the first three months of his life, I did nothing but feed him, burp him, change him, watch him sleep, and take pictures of him.
The day I took this photo, I’d discovered that he had the ability to mimic me. So, I made silly faces to see if he would do the same. Can you imagine what MY face must have looked like to get HIS to look like THIS:

Mama sends this boy to the same Catholic school that she attended when she was little. So, should I be the lucky grand- or first-prize winner, the money will be sent straight to the principal’s office. Just like I was when I was little.
